On July 7, startups from all over the country will come to The Hague to compete in the final of the SocialTech Startup Network Series. In this final, nine startups pitch their solution to the public to enable people to live independently at home for longer and in a healthier way. The most promising startup wins an exclusive partnership with the municipality of The Hague.
SocialTech Startup Network Series
The municipality of The Hague is strongly committed to assisting startups in developing products and services that help people live longer, healthier and independently at home. Together with YES!Delft and Innovation Quarter, she organizes the SocialTech Startup Network Series programme. This program aims to give the best startups from across the country the tools and knowledge needed to bring their solution to market.
Social domain
We see huge opportunities; not only in the technological innovation itself, but also in the change power that entrepreneurs, investors and knowledge institutions in this sector bring with them. By linking that world to that of the social domain, we expect to be able to organize care and support in a smarter way and help people to remain independent for longer and more comfortably.
Bringing startups and healthcare partners together
To successfully market a product or service, it is essential to know the needs in the market, the stakeholders and the process. The SocialTech Startup Network Series connects ambitious startups with stakeholders at an early stage. This creates better products that can be implemented earlier in healthcare. This is good for residents and businesses in The Hague.
Final Event
On June 1, 2022, nine startups started the SocialTech Startup Network Series. Through workshops, masterclasses and speed dates with experts in the field, they get the chance to discover the municipal social domain. The program will conclude on Thursday 7 July with the Finals Event. During this final, the nine startups will pitch their solution to the public. The jury rewards the most promising startup with an exclusive collaboration with the municipality of The Hague.
