The iZi home has been around for five years

The iZi home was set up by the municipality of The Hague in 2016/2017 to introduce residents to care technology to live longer and independently at home. Now, five years later, weekly tours are given by residents of The Hague – our ambassadors – and experiences are shared. The success of the iZi home is therefore partly due to our ambassadors. 

The iZi ambassadors not only give tours and demonstrations, but are also actively involved in furnishing the home and testing new products. The house is therefore completely furnished according to the needs of the residents. All residents are welcome to visit the house and try out the 100 tools that can be found in the house. 

Interactive video 

In addition to our ambassadors, care partners, entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions have also played a major role in the design of the iZi home. Especially for the anniversary of the house, an interactive video has been made of the milestones that have been achieved together with all those involved.
