The municipality of The Hague invites innovative healthcare companies to participate in the unique Caretech Scaling Program. With this program, the municipality offers companies guidance in designing a promising application to Digizo.nu. With this application, companies develop a sustainable revenue model for digital innovations within the social domain. A maximum of two companies can make use of this guidance. Registration for 2024 has now closed.

What can you expect from this program?

With this program, the municipality supports companies in the Digizo.nu process and scaling up their digital applications within the social domain. Once selected, the company will gain access to the next package.

Guidance and support for research with a value of up to EUR 50,000 from the municipality and a maximum of EUR 50,000 in co-financing from InnovationQuarter.
Support with applications, including for the Technology Incentive Scheme in Support and Care (STOZ).
Access to our network in The Hague with healthcare and welfare providers and the knowledge network for validation.
Information and advice on relevant aspects for the social domain and in particular on the assessment and valuation from Digizo.nu.
Facilities for valuation, such as conducting research in living labs, pilots at The Hague healthcare and welfare providers and the municipality, and data analysis via the LUMC.
Connection to our national network, including healthcare providers, the G4, Digizo.nu, VNG and CityDeal Slim Maatwerk.

Conditions to participate

Your company must be located or want to be located in The Hague;
Your company must fit within the themes as defined by Digizo.nu;
Only applications that are already working are eligible. Preferably, these have already been used in the social domain or elsewhere;
Registrations for the first round are closed and could be submitted until August 1, 2024 are submitted.

Needed to participate

To be eligible to participate, we ask for the following documents.

State of affairs: describe the current activities and status of the company. Consider the number of (paying) customers, investors, maturity and the current business case;
Objectives and step-by-step plan: describe business goals and the steps that need to be taken to achieve these goals;
Contribution of this Caretech Scaling Program: describe how the program can contribute to making these steps.
