Hyodol is a social care robot intended for support in daily structure and as a social buddy. The robot was developed in South Korea and is already being used successfully in dementia care. Before we also use Hyodol in the Netherlands, Vilans and The Hague University of Applied Sciences explored how Hyodol could contribute to Dutch dementia care. At first glance, there seem to be many opportunities for Hyodol, we are happy to talk to interested parties about this. There was also a lot of interest from disability care, so there are plenty of starting points for further research.
