Are you a driven entrepreneur with an innovative technological solution for healthcare? Since April 15, 2024, the new subsidy round from the CareTech program opened. A total of €1.2 million is available for innovation projects. This scheme offers SME entrepreneurs in South Holland with a technological innovation in healthcare the opportunity to receive up to €50,000 in subsidies for the development and testing of their solutions.

Who is the scheme for?

The voucher scheme of Kansen voor West is intended for SME entrepreneurs with a technological innovation in healthcare. A connection with the province of South Holland is required.

Conditions and selection criteria:

In line with the ZorgTech innovation programme: keeping healthcare accessible and organizable; replacing, preventing and/or relocating care and confidence in the technological and economic feasibility of the solution.
Added value for South Holland: relevance for the ecosystem and expected growth of the company.
Project quality: quality of the application, project feasibility, project team composition and realistic budget.

Field lab testing or real life testing

In this scheme, vouchers can be requested for developing and testing your innovation in a field lab or living lab environment (field lab testing) or in a practical environment (real life testing). Together with a field, living lab and/or healthcare organization, you can form a project consortium and submit your project plan.

How do I request a voucher?

On the program page ZorgTech If you are interested in the voucher, please register via the intake form. Describe your innovation in this form in max. 300 words. We will then contact you for an intake. During this intake, you will meet one of the members of the program team, introduce your company and project idea, we will think along with you about possible project partners and explore whether this fits into the voucher scheme or whether other steps are more appropriate. If it turns out that your project is suitable, you can start submitting your application. We are ready to support you during this process.

The ZorgTech innovation program is one of the options for enabling promising innovations to find their way to healthcare more quickly. The municipality of The Hague is one of the partners behind this innovation programme.

Financial contributions in the form of vouchers are available in the innovation programme. As a technology company, lab or healthcare organization you can claim a voucher for your innovation project. In addition to receiving a subsidy, the program also provides guidance and promotion of your project. This allows you to accelerate the development of innovative solutions that contribute to stimulating self-reliance of residents and smarter organization of care and support.
