The healthcare sector is facing major challenges, including increasing healthcare use, rising healthcare costs and structural labor shortages. The Netherlands must find other ways of organizing and funding healthcare in the future. For this reason, a consortium of parties led by TNO has formulated a vision of what the right care will look like with the right logistics in 2030 in view of the transitions (extramuralization and client-centricity) and challenges (increasing healthcare costs, shortage to healthcare personnel) in the healthcare domain. Here, care (>50%) is organized in the citizen's own living environment (instead of in care institutions), together with the network around citizens.
