De haagse hoge school

The Health Innovation knowledge center of The Hague University of Applied Sciences conducts research into issues related to the themes 'Prevention through nutrition and exercise', 'Inclusive exercise and sport' and 'Longer independent and healthy'.

Our research is always practice-oriented. We work together with residents, students, local (sports) organizations and companies to find solutions to real questions and provide advice or offer solutions that can be applied immediately. By implementing the acquired knowledge and expertise in education, we train the professional professionals of the future. Sometimes we do this in so-called living labs. These are places near companies or in neighborhoods where we can fully express the creative energy of researchers, students and stakeholders in a relaxed atmosphere. We distinguish ourselves by listening carefully, always testing our findings in practice and actually implementing the solutions found.
