Center for Innovative Craftsmanship – ROC Mondriaan

The Center for Innovative Craftsmanship is an inspiring place where education and care and welfare organizations from the region meet. Lecturers, students and the professional field are working together to improve the application of technology in healthcare and welfare.

Technology and healthcare can no longer be viewed separately. Technological applications are necessary to continue to provide sufficient care to everyone who needs care. ROC Mondriaan therefore wants to be the partner in the region for issues related to the application of healthcare technology. We want to think along and discuss innovation and ethics. With the Center for Innovative Craftsmanship (CIV) we create the link that connects the questions from the professional field with the knowledge of our teachers and the enthusiasm of our students. The power is in connecting and improving.

ROC Mondriaan trains its students in collaboration with regional healthcare providers. In this way, the education is future-proof and the students are prepared for practice. With the CIV, the care and welfare schools of ROC Mondriaan contribute to the professionalization of education and the social solution to issues such as living independently at home for longer, keeping care affordable and available and improving welfare through the use of technology.
