Technology for Home ambassadors Wim, Jan, George and Coen visited startup incubator YES!Delft last Monday. During the visit, the ambassadors met various health tech entrepreneurs.
Healthcare innovations
The entrepreneurs presented, among other things, a smart rollator that prevents falls, a device that helps you learn to breathe (again) correctly and an arm brace that prevents shaking hands. The ambassadors were very impressed by the innovations being developed in YES!Delft. Wim: “I found it very interesting. The startups are busy with a lot of important innovations”.
Change power
Residents are getting older and the pressure on healthcare is increasing. We see enormous opportunities in innovative technology: not only in the technological innovation itself, but also in the change power that entrepreneurs, investors and educational and knowledge institutions in this sector bring with them. By linking that world to the social domain, we expect to make healthcare better, smarter and affordable for residents. The residents are always central to this: we work for and together with residents of The Hague on new ideas and solutions.
